Agency Cash Flow Projection Worksheet
Cash flow in an insurance agency rarely arrives evenly. Commission statements land on carrier schedules, contingency and bonus payments show up once or twice a year, and costs like E&O renewals or producer draws hit whether or not the month was strong.
The Agency Cash Flow Projection Worksheet lays out 16 months of income and expenses in one view, month by month. You enter what you expect to come in and what you know is going out, and the worksheet shows you where the balance tightens and where you have room.
That 16-month window is the point. It covers more than a full year, so a seasonal dip reads as a seasonal dip instead of a warning sign, and you can see how a new monthly payment would sit alongside everything already committed. Change an assumption and the picture updates: renewals coming in slower than planned, a producer starting a quarter later, a carrier shifting its payment schedule.
Build the projection before you apply for financing. If you want a second read on your numbers, or help seeing what a payment would look like under different loan structures, an AgileCap Lending Advisor can walk through it with you.
